Swim for Kidney Cancer Patients across the UK 💚

Sign up here

Kidney Cancer UK is inviting you to take part in our swimming challenge to raise vital funds and awareness for people affected by kidney cancer.

Kidney cancer is often diagnosed late, meaning many people face complex treatment and uncertainty from the very start. By taking on this challenge, you’ll be helping ensure patients and their families receive the support and information they need.

“Together, we can make sure no one faces kidney cancer alone.” – Malcolm Packer, CEO at Kidney Cancer UK

The Swimming Challenge 🏊

The challenge is simple, inclusive, and open to everyone:

Swim a set number of lengths or as many as you can. We’ve set the guidelines of 25, 50, or 100 lengths.

Complete your swim throughout February.

Swim at your own pace – this is about participation, not speed

“Every length makes a difference.” – Hazel Jackson, Healthcare Professional Nurse at Kidney Cancer UK

Why Your Swim Matters?

Around 1 in 3 people with kidney cancer are diagnosed at stage 4, when the disease is more advanced and treatment options can be limited.

By taking part, you’ll help Kidney Cancer UK to:

– Raise awareness of kidney cancer symptoms

– Support patients and families at every stage of diagnosis

– Fund research into earlier diagnosis and better treatments

How Your Fundraising Helps 🌟

All funds raised through this challenge help Kidney Cancer UK to:

– Provide trusted information and patient support

– Campaign for better diagnosis and care

-Fund research that could save lives.
