Dominic was the youngest serving peer in the House of Lords aged 22 after taking his father’s title. He became active after graduating from the University of Aberdeen, becoming Liberal Democrat sports spokesman in 1993, and has also been disability spokesman since 1994. He is the President of the British Dyslexic Association and the vice-president of the UK Sports Association.
