Tower 42, formerly the National Westminster Tower, is an iconic 183-meter (600 ft) modernist skyscraper in the City of London. Completed in 1980 and opened in 1981, it was London’s first true skyscraper and tallest building until 1990. Designed by Richard Seifert in the shape of the NatWest logo, it features 42 floors of office space, a central core, and was extensively refurbished after extensive damage in 1993.
