Leeds Civic Hall

Leeds Civic Hall is an iconic, Grade II* listed building in Leeds city centre, serving as the city’s administrative hub with council offices and a council chamber. Designed by E. Vincent Harris, it’s known for its grand architecture, twin towers topped by gilded owls (a Leeds symbol), and its role hosting events like weddings, citizenship ceremonies, and official functions. Opened in 1933, it replaced the Town Hall as the main civic centre and is a significant landmark in Millennium Square.
