Covesea Lighthouse, built in 1846 on Scotland’s Moray Firth by Alan Stevenson, guided ships for 166 years before being decommissioned in 2012, replaced by a buoy. Now community-owned and managed by volunteers, it’s a heritage attraction offering guided tours, self-catering cottages, and a Royal Navy & RAF Heritage Centre, providing stunning views and insights into maritime and military history.
