We are proud to lead Kidney Cancer Awareness Week for the 12th consecutive year. From Monday 2nd to Friday 6th February 2026, we’re calling on
our incredible community of friends and supporters to join us in starting conversations that can save lives.
During the week, we’re shining a green light on kidney cancer, the sixth most common cancer in the UK, to ensure that no one’s first encounter with the words kidney cancer is during a diagnosis.
✅ 12th Annual Kidney Cancer Patient Survey*
✅ Sharing powerful real-life stories from kidney cancer patients to raise awareness and inspire action.

Go Green on Green Friday (6th February 2026)

The Spinnaker Tower thanks to @marcinjphotography
This is your chance to show your support for kidney cancer patients, their families, and carers across the UK by going green in any way you can.
Wear green, bake green-themed treats, and light your home or workplace green. When people ask why, take the opportunity to raise awareness and show your support. Every conversation helps spread our vital message.
We also invite landmarks across the UK to light up green in recognition of the occasion, and we thank all those who are taking part this year. If you’re able, visit a landmark that’s lighting up, take a photo, and share it on your social media channels (and tag us @kidneycanceruk) to help spread the word even further.
Do you know of a local landmark that could light up green for Green Friday?
Please let us know at hello@kcuk.org.uk.
