We are excited to announce the launch of Walk For A Cure 2022. To mark the charities 22nd anniversary, we have set the challenge for individuals to walk 22 miles on the weekend of 20th – 22nd of May.

You could walk with a friend, start a walking your bubble or, create a unique event. The average walking speed is 2.8 miles per hour, it would take around 8 hours to complete the challenge, which can be spread out across the weekend! 22 miles is just over 35 KM, and an average of 60,000 steps.

Although we have set a date for this challenge, you can arrange a ‘Walk for A Cure’, any time of the year, to help raise funds for research and to support kidney cancer patients, carers and their families across the UK.

‘Walk for A Cure’ was started in memory of Ade Cure who, following a diagnosis of kidney cancer raised over £30,000 through his fundraising walks. Ade’s family value to this day that his legacy lives on and we are proud to present this annual event in his name.
