Here Mr Barber answers patient’s questions about the use of Robotic Assisted Surgery within the treatment of kidney cancer.

A Consultant Urological Surgeon to Frimley Park Hospital, Neil Barber is Clinical Lead for Urology at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and Director of the Frimley Renal Cancer Centre and the Frimley Benign Prostate Clinical Research Centre.

Neil has been performing advanced and complex robotic assisted surgery for over 10 years, the Frimley Renal Cancer Centre performing the highest number of robotic assisted partial nephrectomy for renal tumours per year in the UK year on year.
