Scottish contemporary colourist and artist, John Damari, has very kindly donated an exceptional piece of his work to raise funds for Kidney Cancer Scotland to help in the important support and research work it undertakes for patients across Scotland.

His work, titled ‘Winters Night at the Crofts Knapdale Argyll’, is an original piece set for auction at McTear’s Auctioneers in Glasgow on Sunday April 9.

Karen McNee, Kidney Cancer Scotland’s Regional Development Manager, said; ““This is a wonderful work of art and a generous donation from John of which we are delighted to be the recipient of. John Damari’s work is very much in demand at present, a piece of his work recently reached over £3,400 at auction, so we are very excited. The help the money from this auction will give is vital in supporting kidney cancer patients across Scotland, helping us to fund awareness campaigns and research into better ways to tackle this dreadful disease.”

John Damari added; “I am very happy to be helping Kidney Cancer Scotland though this and planned future picture donation. Cancer is a terrible disease and anything I can do to support the amazing work the charity does is a pleasure for me.”
John is very passionate about supporting charities and Kidney Cancer Scotland is one of many to benefit from his work.
