Philipp Zimmer living with cancer feat image

The benefits of exercise when living with cancer

As Covid-19 continues to dominate much of normal life, we are finding ourselves exploring new ways to maintain fitness and wellness whilst keeping safe and living with cancer. For people living with a medical condition who have been advised to stay at home for an extended period of time, this can be a challenge.

To help, we have created a series of videos in partnership with Philipp Zimmer, Researcher and Professor of Performance Health at TU Dortmund University, and Ipsen UK & Ireland. These videos discuss the benefits of exercise for people living with cancer and why it’s important to stay physically active during this time.

This three-part series will explore the following topics:

  1. Exercise and cancer: why it’s important to stay active
  2. Exercise and its impact on the immune system and therapy delivery
  3. Types of exercise you can do and how to stay healthy

PART 1:

PART 2:

Exercise and the impact on the immune system and therapy delivery

PART 3:
