Everyone at The Fund, all the kidney cancer patients and their families and friends thank you for all your amazing support of the Kidney Cancer UK.
We receive no government grants, we are totally dependent on your generosity and the time you give, the money you raise and vitally important; the awareness you promote of kidney cancer to the wider community. With your incredible help we have been able to provide a Careline to support patients families and those touched by kidney cancer. We have been able to help those kidney cancer patients who find themselves in financial difficulties through our Patient Support Grant.
The Fund have also instigated a very successful Nurse Training program and will shortly launch a Doctor Training Program.
We are about to embark on a fundraising initiative to fund a number of ‘Research Assistants’ to search for ways to improve early diagnosis of kidney cancer, to many time we hear of misdiagnosis leading to tragic outcomes. Early diagnosis greatly enhances the chances of a full and healthy recovery. Our research assistants will also be working towards finding a cure for kidney cancer, every day that passes is a day we are closer to its discovery.
These as just a few of the projects the monies your raise go to and we thank you for helping us fight this terrible disease.
