Patient and Carer Surveys on NHS treatment of rare diseases.

by | Mar 28, 2014 | Patient Survey

The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) has commissioned two surveys on NHS treatment of rare diseases, including rare cancers, to find out more about the views of people over 16 living with a rare disease in the UK.
Patients and carers know best what it’s like to experience a rare cancer. These surveys will help get patients and carers heard at a time when NICE is making changes to how they assess medicines and as all four countries implement the Rare Disease plans. The results will help in responding to NICE consultations that are coming up soon
The survey should take around 15 minutes to fill in and respondents don’t have to give their name or contact details so it’s completely anonymous. The survey is open now and closes on the 25 April.
