Nancy 'Noodles' takes on Nuclear Races Rookie Rush
Four -year-old Nancy Kirste Pitt, nick-name ‘Noodles’, is having a huge adventure and joining the Nuclear Races Rookie Rush on Sunday 19th May.
Four-year-old Nancy ‘Noodles’ will be tackling a 3km mud obstacle course on the Nuclear Races Rookie Rush consisting of the muddiest ditches, scrabbling under cargo nets, crawling through tyre tunnels, climbing over walls and mastering the monkey bars!! Everything a four -year old loves!! This challenge is no mean feat for this little dynamo but she’ll be safe in knowing that her daddy, Darren, will by her side, watching to make sure she gets around safely.
Plucky, Nancy is taking part in this race for three great charities, Kidney Cancer UK , The Stroke Association and Breast Cancer Now and we are so grateful to her for taking on such a huge challenge at such a young age.
Mum, Natalie, says: “I am so proud of Nancy, this is the first time she has taken on something like this, and the fact she is doing it in support of my friend Mary who has kidney cancer, and two other really important charities, is amazing. All three of these charities are so close to our families hearts. I know her granddad, who we lost to a stroke, and my dear friend Kirste (Nancy’s middle name) who we lost to breast cancer will be looking down cheering Nancy on.”
