Manchester Patient Day Report, 21st November 2012
Wednesday 21 November 2012, The Park Royal Hotel, Warrington.
Professor Robert Hawkins, Cancer Research UK Professor and Director of Medical Oncology at the University of Manchester and the Christie Hospital NHS Trust, will chair the Manchester Patient Day. He will also be giving the plenary presentation on his very exciting research with high dose interleukin-2 (HD IL-2). The day includes presentations on kidney cancer surgery, palliative care, the work of the clinical nurse specialist, and patient support. In the afternoon, there will be an interactive question and answer session with some of the UK’s leading kidney cancer specialists.
