Leeds Metastatic Kidney Cancer Support Group
We are pleased to announce our ‘Leeds Metastatic Kidney Cancer Support Group’. This is in association with Leeds Cancer Centre and The NHS Leeds Teaching Hospital, at the Maggie’s Centre, Leeds. There will be four meetings across 2023 and all dates are listed below.
This group is the only one of its kind in the region, set up by Leeds NHS in partnership with Maggie’s and national charity, Kidney Cancer UK.
We encourage anyone who wants to come along to do so – there is no obligation or pressure to talk or share experiences – some people just need to listen to others, that can often be a great support too. The meeting is open to anyone who has been affected by Metastatic Kidney Cancer, including family members, carers and friends.

Health professionals will be on hand to discuss oncological treatments, dealing with side effects as well as offering advice in other areas including money matters and psychological support. This is an excellent opportunity to meet, relax and chat with Nurse professionals as well as being able to share your experiences with other patients and understand you are not alone.
Our sessions are free to attend; refreshments are provided.
