Enormous effort in aid of kidney cancer charity

Kenneth Rogers' bikeKenneth Rogers, in aid of kidney cancer charity, has set himself a challenge  to complete the Glentress,  a 7 hour mountain bike endurance race at one of the UK’s best mountain biking trail centres. The course is laid out over an 11km lap and Kenneth will try to complete as many laps as you can in the 7 hours.
Kenneth’s motivation and positive attitude guarantee success in aid of Kidney Cancer UK.
Kenneth’s father has been living with renal cancer for the past seven years and during this time he has found Kidney Cancer UK to be a useful resource. As a charity we are trying to support patients and their families by providing them with the information about different treatments available and the possible side-effects of each or explaining the investigations the doctors might carry out.
The charity seeks to reduce the harm caused by kidney cancer by increasing knowledge and awareness, providing patient information and by supporting research into the causes, prevention and treatment of the disease.
On 1st June, Kenneth completed 6 laps, 38 miles in 7hrs. Huge success.  Well done!
You may support him by making a donation to his JustGiving page.
Thank you.
