Kidney Cancer UK welcomes Surgeon Commander Jonathan Perry to the board of trustees

We are delighted to welcome Surgeon Commander Jonathan Perry to our board of trustees. He has a long-standing, successful career in radiology and his extensive experience in the field will be enormously valuable to the charity. We are confident he will make a significant contribution to the organisation.
Surgeon Commander Jonathan Neil Perry MB ChB BA(Open)Hons FRCR RN is a Consultant Radiologist in the Ministry of Defence Hospital Unit in Peterborough. Jon has a special interest in interventional radiology, vascular intervention, uroradiology and is experienced in many radiological modalities, including plain film, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and CT.
Jon currently holds a post as a Recognised Clinical Teacher for Cambridge University Medical School. His military career has involved working as a medical officer on board a nuclear submarine and consequently provided him with a detailed knowledge of occupational medicine, together with teaching him the importance of teamwork. Recently Jon’s military career has seen him in active service is Kosovo, Kuwait and Afghanistan.
Socially Jon is a keen Lawn Tennis player and follower of England Rugby Team. He is also the conductor of the parents’ choir of Kings’ College School in Cambridge.
