International Kidney Cancer Coalition (IKCC) Conference 2014

 
This fourth IKCC Conference brought together leaders from patient organisations with various perspectives from around the world to share best practices, exchange experiences, and work toward global solutions for kidney cancer patients.
The main goals of the conference:

1. Support patient advocates in developing new knowledge and skills about the diagnosis, treatment and management of the disease.
2. Identify common needs, problems, and challenges in kidney cancer.
3. Share ideas, best practices and solutions to enhance the work of kidney cancer patient advocates.

For the Kidney Cancer community the IKCC conference was a valuable platform with an opportunity to learn about advances and challenges in the treatment of the disease and to share experience and best practice.
