Pre-study survey of NEST

by | Nov 6, 2017 | Kidney Cancer UK News, Patient Survey | 0 comments

We asked our supporters to fill in a survey which would help to design future research projects. The basis of the survey was:

‘what are you happy to share with kidney cancer research teams?’

Research is an important part of delivering the best treatments and care to people with kidney cancer. In collaboration with consultant urologist Maxine Tran and her research team we asked what our supporters opinions were on sharing data and tissue for research and the amount of contact they would be happy to share with the research team. We understand that many people may have different opinions on this subject and as such feel it is important that we understand what the overall consensus is on this subject and give peoplethe opportunity to raise any concerns or thoughts.
We presented a short survey to invite views on this subject.
You can view the results of the survey here.
